We Perceive, Inc. will use current technology and resources to make existing products and services accessible now by partnering with other corporations and organizations; provide accessible products and services to children with visual impairments; and work to find ways to advance accessibility for the future.
Many solutions currently exist to provide these children with access to movies, museums, toys and learning- parts of daily life every child needs and deserves. A fully accessible world is possible. Together, we can make it a reality.
Our goals are to ensure children with visual impairments are able to interact and participate in all parts of their environment including home, school and in the community, while raising awareness of their needs to the industries which serve children as well as the general public. We believe awareness is the key to understanding, empathy and respect.
Our board consists of parents and supporters who are active in the blindness community and their local communities but want to make an impact at a national level, too. "We perceive a fully accessible world for children with visual impairments."
